This fall, as part of the Budget Control Act passed earlier this year, both houses of Congress will vote on a Balanced Budget Amendment.  Speaker Boehner has long been a proponent of a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution, believing it is the only sure fire way to ensure that Washington lives within its means.  Passing a BBA would also provide much needed certainty for the private sector and will help create a better environment for job creation across the country.
